Independent Research Projects with Students

Students are welcome to do small research projects with me in Evolutionary Biology. Please come and see me in my office hours to discuss possible projects.

  • Valerie Renard, research on mitochondrial DNA variation in Brown Howler Monkey popualtions from the Atlantic Coastal Forests of Brazil

  • Mark Gilman, research on the genetic relationships among humans, chimpanzees and gorillas

  • Anaïs Wong, research on the biodiversity at Oakland Lake, Bayside, Queens, New York. Watch her movie called Urban Nature.
